Jayne Barket Lyons credits her late mother for getting her hooked on treasure hunting. As a teen in the 1970s she tagged along with her mom as they perused local thrift stores, estate sales, flea markets and garage sales. Jayne became a collector back then; with matchbook covers and stamps being her first collections.

Jayne has a B.A. in English and History, and a Masters of Library & Information Science. She worked a number of years as a mortgage processor before starting work as an adult reference / children’s librarian.

Through the years Jayne has continued thrifting and treasure hunting - snagging things for her growing family, and adding to her various collections. In the early 2000s she sold used and out-of-print books online.

Selling goods at a local antiques mall in 2012 was Jayne’s first foray into the vintage marketplace. Since then she has never looked back. Jayne is a former dealer at Antiques Minnesota, a local Twin Cities antiques mall.
